Just wonderin' Dire...why the hatin on T Jed???

It's not one of their best songs..but I gots to admit as a young 15YO whippersnapper of a sophomore in high school, Jed on WALSTIB was the song that first pulled me into the Dead orbit. I just loved the lyrics at that time!! Now granted, I have since discovered a great number of their tunes that I like better, but TJed still has a place in my heart.

Edit... wait, I may have answered my own question...
Is it because you think it sophomoric???

Just wonderin' why you hate it so.....

Hey Finster - i dont "hate" the song, but it never hit my ears quite right. its repetitive nature, given that fact, just compounds my dislike for the tune. yeah, the lyrics are very sophmoric, but i kinda like them, and they are a whole sight better than Hunter's efforts in the 21st century (he has totally lost the touch).

other than that, my whole dislike for it is just kinda a tongue-in-cheek joke now here :) whole thing kinda arose during the groks we used to do a couple of years ago.

hope that answers your question and that this day finds you well :)

Thanks Dire...thought you really did hate it. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Didn't know it was tongue in cheek. Should have known better with you jokesters! :)

All is well with me currently...thanks for asking!!

Hope life is treating you well!!
